Sacred Images of Renowned Mountains

“名山圣影”全息环幕剧场 · 百米环幕展项。自佛教传入中国以来，已有上千年的历史，并对我国的宗教文化产生了深远的影响。随着佛教的盛行，逐渐形成了风靡中外的众多佛教名山，诸多佛教名山多为佛菩萨道场，其山川悠远、风景宜人，同时更将佛菩萨代表的“慈悲大智”“精进践行”“与乐拔苦”等理想境界赋予其中，人们登山揽胜，更是借此憧憬美好生活，寄托宏大愿景。山川常驻，精神永存；盛景常在，宏愿永辉。

展览分为“梵山圣境”和“名山圣影”两个部分。“名山圣影”选取佛教典籍中的公认的佛、菩萨、罗汉形象，通过艺术家的创作的多媒体影像，以屏幕播放的形式环绕在“名山绘卷”长卷周围，以造境之法构造佛教“慈悲智愿行”之沉浸式体验场景。

Sacred Images of Renowned Mountains is a holographic panoramic theatre presented across a 100-metre projection environment. Buddhism has been present in China for more than a thousand years and has profoundly influenced the country’s religious culture. As Buddhism flourished, numerous sacred Buddhist mountains—renowned in China and abroad—gradually took shape. Many serve as sites associated with Buddhas and bodhisattvas. Their enduring landscapes and beautiful scenery embody ideals represented by the Buddhas and bodhisattvas, including compassionate wisdom, diligent practice, and bringing joy while relieving suffering. In visiting these mountains, people also envision a better life and entrust them with far-reaching aspirations. The mountains endure and the spirit remains; the sacred scenery abides and the great vows continue to shine.

The exhibition comprises two parts, Sacred Realm of Buddhist Mountains and Sacred Images of Renowned Mountains. The latter selects recognized images of Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and arhats from Buddhist scriptures. Through artists’ multimedia moving-image works, displayed on screens encircling the long Scroll of Renowned Mountains, it constructs—through the creation of an immersive realm—an experiential environment for the Buddhist ideals of compassion, wisdom, aspiration, and practice.

本作品展项通过高精度三维地理信息系统建模与文化遗产数字化重建技术，结合人工智能驱动的电影级渲染算法及多模态计算机视觉解决方案，构建了具备毫米级精度的虚拟文化遗产场景。特别是在纹理映射环节，应用高分辨率UV展开算法与基于生成对抗网络（GAN）的纹理修复技术，确保虚拟佛像表面材质的高保真度与细节还原。

在影像呈现层面，创新性整合实时渲染引擎与三维纱幕投影映射系统，通过与现场灯光设备实时演算，构建了动态光照响应式的虚实融合影像系统。在后期制作环节，运用基于物理的粒子动力学模拟引擎构建复杂自然现象的数字孪生系统，并采用DaVinci Resolve电影级色彩科学框架进行影像调色处理，有效提升跨媒介呈现的视觉一致性，使得虚拟与现实之间的界限更加模糊。该展项深度融合了文化遗产数字化保护标准与实时图形学领域前沿成果，在非线性编辑流程中实现了多源异构数据的精确时空对齐，形成具备学术规范性的文化遗产数字孪生解决方案。

Through high-precision 3D geographic information system modelling and the digital reconstruction of cultural heritage, combined with AI-driven cinematic rendering algorithms and multimodal computer-vision solutions, the exhibit constructs a virtual cultural-heritage environment with millimetre-level precision. In texture mapping, high-resolution UV unwrapping and generative-adversarial-network (GAN) based texture restoration are applied to preserve the surface fidelity and detail of the virtual Buddhist sculptures.

For the moving-image presentation, the work integrates a real-time rendering engine with a three-dimensional gauze-screen projection-mapping system. Real-time computation with the venue’s lighting creates a responsive hybrid image system in which virtual and physical elements converge. In post-production, a physics-based particle-dynamics simulation engine is used to build digital twins of complex natural phenomena, while DaVinci Resolve’s cinematic colour-science framework supports colour grading and improves visual consistency across media, further blurring the boundary between virtual and physical space. The exhibit brings together standards for the digital preservation of cultural heritage and current real-time graphics methods; its nonlinear editing workflow precisely aligns heterogeneous data from multiple sources across time and space, producing a cultural-heritage digital-twin solution grounded in academic practice.
